I was just making sure there was balance, ye dubs have a habit of trying to rewrite history to suit yer selves.

Yes but there is a strong anti-Dublin flavor to a lot of the posts in here many of them from Kerry posters. Are we supposed to sit back and have our county's achievements belittled and insulted and say nothing? You can dish it out but as you have amply demonstrated but you are not so good at taking it.
There was nothing personally offensive In my opening post but you resorted to personal insults and you were called out on it. Now get over yourself and grow a pair like a good lad.

I always thought it was a bit funny to be honest, imagine a heap of grown adults going about the country declaring their from the Kingdom.

I always think of Monty Python holy grail when I hear it and the Knights milling around the place with two coconuts making a galloping noise.

Each to their own.

Of course you think its funny mate, the old - oh I'm a reasonable, balanced, honest broker facade you try so hard to maintain slips away whenever the KINGDOM is a topic of conversation on here...

There's nothing to slip from you. You seem like a moaning, uptight, petulant child. What you hear is what you get with you I suppose, and you're consistently like that all the time so tip of the hat to you, good sir.

Yerra Kingdomboy sure you know the caliber of the ones commentating - if they had a Dublin jersey between them I'd be shocked.

What do they spend or sacrifice supporting their county compared to other people, especially a man like you - forking out to bring his family all around the country, League and Championship, following the Senior, Minor and U-20 teams let alone the club!
Wasn't the bold Jimbo coming onto the Kerry forum last year boasting that he doesn't even bother going to Dublin league games.
True Blues alright ;D

As a poster above said, what's a fella starting a thread about a question he could easily google only to have a few digs and hope some of his county cronies come onboard.

A week out from a fourth All-Ireland final in a row and here they are, AGAIN going out of their way to have a go at the Kingdom.
It seems bizarre the way they are until you realise what it all probably stems from - a crippling sense of insecurity towards Kerry and the knowledge that behind all the hubris and arrogance they display on here, they know their county has never matched what Kerry has done in Gaelic Games.

And they know history will not be kind to this Dublin side, regardless of the result on Sunday week. Once the hysteria 'of the now' dies away and a cold, calculating eye is cast on these past few years, they know this era will be judged to be one of a low standard - when their only opposition were a Mayo side that couldn't get over the line repeatedly and a Kerry team that was the worst in a generation.

They know their dominance will be rightly contextualized within the massive disparity in terms of finance and resources Dublin NOW enjoy over the rest, and the benefits of home town games never mind the Dublin based officials overseeing major matches.

And then they come out and hide behind the cry of others 'belittling their achievements' when these real and serious issues are raised!!

They are the 'little' things that bring you dominance compared to an actual amateur Kerry side from a decade earlier getting to 6 finals in a row without those benefits, and if that Kerry side had a few more favourable bounces of the ball, they would have won 3 or 4 in a row themselves.

And of course they know there is a drive for 5 going on Sunday week. After a decade or more of neglect at underage we have got our act together and are churning out young talent like it was Kerrygold butter.
Despite the money constantly being thrown Dublin's way to keep them successful - Kerry are on the verge of rising again to rip their dominance to shreds.

So let them enjoy the final on Sunday week and maybe the four in a row as well, we have 2. That's Dublin for you - still only second best after everything :D

It sure is Avonali. The locals call Carlingford Kearneyford after their local hero Rob Kearney who played with the GAA club Cooley Kickhams and also played minor football with Louth. He is only one of two Irish players along with Rory Best to win two grand slams with Ireland.

If you have to state a case for being the greatest team or footballing county of all time then you are probably not.

We will do what we do and look to our own, everything else is pretty irreverent really.
