Replying To yew_tree:  "He is an awful commentator full stop...game had no intensity really. Dublin playing within themselves. Galway kicking some nice scores but game has an invetability about it."
Along with his co commentator record them and sleeping tablets are on the way out.

RTE's whole coverage is boring and cringeworthy, time a lot of these oul fellas were put out to pasture, I don't know if it's just me but I find this game very dull, just expecting the Dubs to kick on and run out handy winners, hope I'm wrong would love to see Galway beat them today, hopefully there'll be a bit of Ulster bite to the game tomorrow.

Where's the atmosphere here? Such a boring and dull game, no intensity or bite from Galway at all. Borefest so far

Canning and Dolan whipping themselves into a 'Blue Frenzy' now. Seriously cringing.

Replying To Jack_Goff:  "Definitely not sold out. Shocking really. Dublin in an all ireland semi final and croker isn't sold out. Just shows you the majority in Dublin couldn't care less. I think most reasonable people in Dublin realise it's not a level playing field and vote with their feet.

The GAA used to sell out croker for leinster championship matches between Dublin and the likes of meath, laois, wexford and kildare and sometimes that would only be a quater final. They got greedy and wanted Dublin winning all Irelands thinking it would boost the coffers. Backfired big time. They'd be taking in far more money now if that money was pumped into other counties."
It was a different country back then when Leinster Championship matches were selling out. 60k is not bad! Dublin should be praised for developing the best football team of all time. 2019 will bring the five-in-a-row. In saying that Dublin won't win forever even with their resources. Hurling went through the same problem a decade ago with Kilkenny. The same debate took place, look where Kilkenny are now. Enjoy watching this Dublin team, because they will be talked about forever and will have their own section in the GAA museum in time.

Football needs Tyrone or Monaghan to put in a serious shift in the final unlike Galway today. Semi-final???

The more I see the more I admire Mayo as the only team to really put it up to the Dubs since 2015.

Realistically that Galway team was in division 2 with Laois 3 years ago. Each would win on alternate years. They aren't that much ahead of Laois. Very similar games against Dublin.

Well done to Dublin, another final to look forward to, ruthless performance in the second half, it's hard to see anybody living with ye.

Hard luck to Galway, left too many scores left out there in that first half but lots to build on after an excellent season overall.

BORING. Dublin will cruise to another all ireland title. Hopefully Monaghan do us a favour tomorrow, let them take the beating in the final.

Job done , had Galway down as the weakest of the four , not overly impressed with our performance but were there which is what matters , today reminded is much of young pretenders meeting the real deal ,history awaits

The Dublin players are starting to sound like Jim Gavin now in post match interviews, well we knew Galway would put up a fantastic challenge etc etc....…. they'd trot out the same lines if they'd just played Leitrim.
Thanks God for hurling.
