Replying To conordee:  "I can safely say you have left one out for sure , a certain Joe Canning."
No just thought there was 6 better. Good player, but over-hyped as today will show.

12 the same as the Sunday game lads. Very little between Byrne's and Coleman but I think Coleman was better, same with Lynch and O Donovan in midfield while I'd have Gillane ahead of conlon and canning.

Replying To 890202:  "Two games to go, possibly more depending on draws. Too often do the All Ireland finalists get nearly all of the awards. I hope this year is different and they actually award individuals based on individual performances rather than on the team they happen to play for.
I'll give my opinion on the All Star 15 I would pick as it stands:

Eoin Murphy
Liam Ryan
Daithi Burke
Richie English
Seadna Morey
Declan Hannon
Mark Coleman
Daragh Fitzgibbon
Johnny Coen
Cathal Mannion
TJ Reid
Peter Duggan
Graeme Mulcahy
John Conlon
Aaron Gillane

I really hope the outstanding performances by Eoin Murphy and TJ Reid are not forgotten. Kilkenny won the league and pushed all Ireland finalists limerick all the way, thanks to the individual brilliance of Murphy and Reid. Wexford got to the national league semi final and all Ireland quarter final with Liam Ryan being outstanding everyday particularly on John Conlon in the 1/4 final. These counties didn't make the semi finals but I believe those three individuals are worthy of all stars considering their individual performances in what is an individual based award."
Very happy to be corrected on who are the top scorers from play in this years championship (i havent seen such a table)....interesting both in this all star team that the leading scorers FROM PLAY in this years hurling championship are NOT in this team or in the SUNDAY GAME TEAM OF THE YEAR. No surprise with the leading scorer Conor Whelan. But you may be surprised with the 2nd highest scorer from play this year Tony Kelly. You would imagine it would be hard to ignore scores from play
