Replying To Ban:  "So can we agree that future of Westmeath football does not depend on Mullingar's performance this weekend and maybe take a moment to consider just how great an achievement it was for them to win the County Title this year?"
Indeed has to be appreciated. They also beat the two best teams in Westmeath to do it. They have achieved their goal for the year so hard to see them troubling Moorfield. Still one more surprise would be nice!

Shamrocks well beaten. They tried their hardest in fairness, and were very clearly up for it, but just not good enough. Their running game hit a brick wall in Moorefield.

Shamrocks were certainly not there to make up the numbers. Moore field got some handy frees and that made the difference.

Moorfield had one forward on fire. Game was over at half time. Shamrocks replaced injured Warde with a back. Donohue played a lot of game in full forward line which was a waste of his distribution skills. Darragh Daly never went to full forward. Shamrocks only came into it when Moorfield took off the whole full forward line. A better team could have punished them. I suppose experience at this level was the difference. Waste of a home draw for Shamrocks though...
