Replying To Miami305:  "I have flown over from England for all the Galway games this year, bar the replay with KK. Im sure you all realise flights and hotels etc etc aren't cheap. Bottom line is, if you wont hop in your car in Ireland and drive a couple of hours for a championship knockout match, you aren't really that invested in your team.

Yes, yesterday was a long way and not an ideal venue, certainly for wexford but If you want to be there, you get there no matter what, and if you aren't that fussed, you make excuses."
Would you be hopping on planes if Galway had an outside chance of winning an All-Ireland?

There was 60k at the Leinster final in 2017 with Galway Wexford. Yet at home against ourselves this year, only 14k turned up in a ground that has a capacity of 25k. Then 10k on Saturday in Cork. Where are all these people who were there in 2017? The team was supposed to be on the up. It cant help the players one bit running out in PUC to see its over three quarters empty.

i work in a bar and the amount of people who came in and said 'i was happy to go to thurles for 7 o'clock on a saturday evening,or any time on sunday, but as soon as they said it was 3pm in cork everybody just turned off'.
the amount of people who an early saturday throw in does not suit is unreal.the gaa cant seem to get their heads around it and saturdays quarter final was a case of 'has to be on tv,come hell or high water'
there is also the fact that the team have not been playing well-a rising tide lifts all boats and lets face it,every bandwagoner in wexford showed up in croke park last year!
our core support is probably 15-20k in reality.
