Respect your honesty Commodore, plenty of cute hoorism about rather have a man tell me what they really think any day. For what it's worth I think Donegal will won on Sunday, even though I would love to see Fermanagh won, even Donegal supporters would admit they would be supporting Fermanagh if they were playing anyone else. I think it would be a major shock should Fermanagh won on Sunday, you never know, but I honestly can't see it. Best of luck to both teams, enjoy it they don't come around too often

Can everyone outside of Donegal (even those inside it) pray for a Fermanagh win tomorrow. I genuinely think I would be reduced to tears if Fermanagh win tomorrow. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 23/06/2018 15:03:37 2113901 Link 0 |

It really feels like Christmas eve at the minute. I haven't been this nervous about a game in years. The cock sureness of the Donegal posters reminds me of the monaghan fans going into the previous game. The fermanagh players have a certain steel about them this year too. Very focussed and mind set on the job at hand. I'm gonna go make a bold statement and say Fermanagh are going to win this by 3 points. Jesus christ I pray and hope i'm right. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 23/06/2018 23:58:29 2114080 Link 0 |

Good luck to Fermanagh but their story maybe hides the turnarounds in Donegal fortunes. I thought after Tyrone beat Donegal two years running it was the end of the road for them. However they have come back this year playing better football and their range of scorers suggests they should be able to beat the blanket. Donegal by 6 points. I didn't expect Fermanagh to beat Monaghan at all a few weeks back and it happened so anything is possible. I do think Donegal will have too much on the day but looking forward to watching it in the Clonliffe before heading to Croker. Hopefully we'll be welcoming Fermanagh back to Croker in two weeks time. I wish it was us there today, and Fermanagh sickened my hole a few weeks ago, but I really hope they can pull it off today. These days don't come around too often for a county like Fermanagh and it would be great to see them break their duck. patk (Monaghan) - Posts: 936 - 24/06/2018 13:00:01 2114172 Link 0 |

So this is the brand new Donegal? 14 men behind the ball. Murphy at full back. It's as if Rory never left Donegal. I wonder what Brolly will say!!! The_Fridge (Tyrone) - Posts: 2088 - 24/06/2018 14:05:46 2114195 Link 0 |
First time I've ever seen a team play with no full forward line of any description. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 24/06/2018 14:24:38 2114203 Link 0 |
if the football had groups like hurling we would have better provincial finals suckvalleypaddy (Galway) - Posts: 1667 - 24/06/2018 14:27:51 2114204 Link 1 |
Joe and the lads would say, Fermanagh need to play at pace and take the shackles off and express themselves, and they (pundits) get money for it every week.

Awful rubbish from Fermanagh so far. Unfortunately the rubbish that beat Monaghan. Am sure Donegal learned from our disaster in Omagh. greysoil (Monaghan) - Posts: 965 - 24/06/2018 14:54:06 2114212 Link 0 |

Donegal were very impressive - they completely crowded out the midfield, negating Fermanagh's main strength the fielding ability of Jones and Donnelly. Ban Gallagher is a brilliant player and caused havoc down the right. Disappointing from Fermanagh and it will be difficult for Rory to pick them up after this. I thought the ref was very harsh on Ryan Jones - his tackle (for the second yellow) was deflected up off the arm by the movement of the Donegal player. neverright (Roscommon) - Posts: 1648 - 24/06/2018 16:39:34 2114235 Link 1 |
