It is definitely a 50/50 game. However having attended the West Final I felt we were probably unlucky to lose and as you probably know if a closely contested game is replayed it often happens that the losing side learns that bit more from the first game. We have also had two immpressive wins against Kilmallock and Doon and of course Stephen Cahill is back, which should also be a help. However I am looking forward to a great game and can see why Killeedy are favourites in a lot of peoples view. Saturday will back memories of the days in the seventies and early eighties when these great rivals brought crowds of over 3,000 people to West Finals.

The only thing I see about those victories over kilmallock minus 7-8 of starting team from south final and Doon minus 5 from east final, killeedy the same beat poor ballybricken side and the a well side that lost 3-4 from the city final, however I. Free it's difficilt to beat a team a second time in championship, massive crowd and a great game in store!

These two clubs are playing together at underage indicating they could well be the one club in the very near future . Hard to believe for those of us who saw the games in the late seventies and early eighties , both are now junior though and rural west Limerick like many parts of rural Ireland abandoned by the government.

Supporters would be well advised to get to Drom early tomorrow.
Traffic likely to be mental plus with the stand there is small enough.

It is pure nonsense putting back starting times in GAA games. My two friends came from Wexford, one of them a few miles from the Irish Sea, and we were there in Drum a full hour before the game. It was a Saturday afternoon for God sake and if inconsiderate people cannot be arsed to be there in time the game should go ahead on time. Anyway there seemed to be no great glut of people coming in to Drum Pitch after 2.30 yesterday, only the usual few stranglers. You do not see this carrry on it other codes and it looks totally unprofessional.
Anyway,I have just seen on the Munster GAA Website that the game V Kilgarvan is at on at a Limerick on the 10th of November.
