Cork V Tipperary

Just wondering why the Hurling and football can't be played as a Double header in Thurles.
Football 7pm Sat
Hurling 2pm Sun
Maybe it's to do with RTÉ showing the Hurling game.
Seems very unfair on supporters.

It's a double header already, tipp cork minors on before the seniors. Firstly game shouldn't be on this weekend but since it is for no good reason then they should have had the sense to at least pit the football on at 4 after the hurling on Sunday.

Because common sense isn't common.

It's good to see brian Hurley back after two horrible injuries and hopefully he'll make a big impact this year.

It is not just common about sense. It is about bias and down right bias. Dublin and Kilkenny played in Parnell Park that holds 9,000. (half empty anyway) Waterford were not allowed hold their home gates at home because Walsh Park would not hold the crowds. I know this is supposed to be a safety issues. A wall l fell down and was fixed. On talking with a long time servant of the grounds he said that with proper stewarding Walsh Park could hold 14,000. Again we see on Sunday no television of the game against Clare. All the rest of Munster had their first game televised. This despite the fact Waterford are the beaten All-Ireland finalists.

That's a strong sub bench Cork can call on. There isn't much between these two teams, I hope there is a decent crowd at it but I can't imagine there will be with the Champions League final clashing with it.

Ya the bench looks strong enough alright but the starting 15 don't look great , I'd say there could be a change or 2 before throw in, but you're right there will probably be a small crowd due to the soccer which is a pity as this game Could be a cracker.

Judging by the cork lineup they are banking on Walsh and Maguire dominating midfield and then bring in the likes of Kerrigan, Loughrey, and Hurley for the last 20 minutes to close it out.

I wouldn't be surprised too if they make a few late changes. Collins and O'Neill will lead the line well.

We need to win it more than Cork because they seem to glide through the qualifiers when they avoid the likes of Mayo.

Well, well, well.
Definitely a huge improvement from Cork. Defence tight with timely quick and hard tackling.
Brian Hurley and Paul Kerrigan were impressive as subs, and things are looking up.
Hope the Colm O' Neill injury is not serious...but the bench is strong. Sean Powter has yet to come back.
Tipp were poor on the day...but roll on Munster final in Cork on June 23rd against most likely the Kingdom.

Fair play Cork. Written off in some quarters. We always knew they had talent. Very few teams would beat Tipp by that much.

Looking forward to hearing the Yerrah merchants out in force making Cork heavy favourites for Munster now!

Whatever about losing, I thought Tipp would be much better than that.

Best of luck to Cork in the final.
