Don't know . Only what I've read in WP seems some progress is being made. Wish them the best of luck. With the weather holding should be a decent crowd.

I'd say today's result answers that question. Hard luck on those involved. These things shouldn't happen but they do. I am not going to say anything about that young player. He will be feeling bad enough. Seems a crazy rule in all sports though. Fouls are invariably planned or premeditated. Retaliation is spontaneous. So - planned or intended probably play on, spontaneous reaction, walk. Anyway, i think this team is showing that it might just live up to the hype surrounding it. They can still qualify so keep up the good work and best of luck next day out.

Very little between both teams. Great weather. Pitch in perfect condition. Good local support.
Sending off came at crucial time. Credit to Wicklow for plugging away in second half.

Well done to the Wicklow minors tonight, they seem to be getting better and better with each outing, have been a bit leaky at the back though, hopefully they can sort that out before the Dublin and Meath games.

Good luck to the Minor Footballers against Dublin in Parnell Park tomorrow evening. Despite not getting all the best players to commit and missing players through injury, I'm sure this group of players will give a good account of themselves.

Well done lads, great result. Hopefully this is the first group of quality footballers coming through, we need lots of good consecutive teams to be coming through to fill the senior ranks in the future. Again, great result lads.

Great win last night. Congrats to all. A win like this means a lot more to a county like us than most. Best of luck next week against Meath. Kildare look impressive in the other side too. Some murmurings and rustling in the long grass about John Evans. This was to be expected as some of the games and particularly the u20's were embarrassing. I still believe we are on the right path and I suppose when you are almost below the basement floor there is only one way.

County Minor Footballers play Meath in Aughrim on Tuesday evening @ 7.30. After a win against Dublin in Parnell Park last Wednesday, they also need to win this game to qualify for the Leinster semi final against Kildare. Last Wednesday was a fantastic evening for the players and the large Wicklow crowd that witnessed a Wicklow team compete at the top table and win. I hope that the whole County get behind these young players in Aughrim on Tuesday, I would encourage all underage club coaches to bring their young players to support the lads and see what Wicklow players are capable of. Very best of luck lads.

Well put gagamad
Let's get out and support this fine group of players who have brought nothing but positivity to the table
All reports coming from Parnell Park last week confirm same
It would be fantastic for themselves and the County as a whole if they can get a result

Big game tomorrow, 21 years since we got to a minor football final. I would be great to get to another one, but Kildare are a very good team as they have proved in their qualifying group. Both teams know each other fairly well after playing a lot of games over the last few years. I see ex Blessington player Liam Broderick is playing midfield for Kildare and a St Kevins student Aaron Kennedy(Joe's son) playing full Fwd. We will need to improve on our ball retention from the Meath game, but if we do that, break even at midfield and get enough quality ball into Eoin Darcy and Mattie Ging, well you never know.

Yes, absolutely appalling that the so called number 1 Wicklow radio station wasn't covering this. Shocking! Thankfully due to the hard work of some Wicklow social media gurus I was able to keep up with the game but was on the road all day and was very disappointed that East Coast radio weren't covering this. Even the updates were dreadful. Total lack of sports coverage for a team that are literally changing Wicklow football for the better. Massive credit to all involved.

The county board and all stake holders,Local media,Sponsors,Clubs should push hard to try and fill Aughrim and get those young lads to a Leinster Final
