Agree with that, good analysis. We do depend a lot on C Cav, and he's not getting any younger

You can say what you like greysoil, Tyrone's form in Croker was inspiring enough to beat Monaghan on both occasions. A trend I expect to continue on Sunday week in Healy Park

I can guess the trend that is going to continue in the game and it will have nothing to do with football.

Good man. Let's hope it is a good, sporting game. And the better team will win on the day.

Catch yourself on man and stop firing out tired oul chestnuts, there's no team squeaky clean and you'd be foolish to think otherwise. Agree with greysoil 100% a good sporting contest and may the best team won

I think we have touched on a very sore spot or are you just very nervous about the game.

If you have anything constructive to say about the game in question that would be nice. Anyway looking forward to it. Someone said it's going to be a wet weekend which could leave it a low scoring game. The_Fridge (Tyrone) - Posts: 2088 - 15/05/2018 22:01:21 2101187 Link 0 |
Really looking forward to this contest. I think it will be tight, tactical with both teams cancelling each other out for long spells. Monaghan' s discipline in the league let them down a few times but they'll need to be very disciplined on Sunday. Tir Conaill Abu (Donegal) - Posts: 1671 - 15/05/2018 22:14:06 2101192 Link 0 |
Looking forward to this one, pity it's not on live tv, I have a feeling Monaghan will win it. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 2737 - 15/05/2018 22:33:14 2101198 Link 0 |
It'll be low scoring either way I fear!

Both teams could be happy with their league form but I'm going on Tyrone's form in the Ulster Championship over the last two years. Mickey Harte has spread the scoring throughout the team and the addition of Lee Brennan should correct one of the weak points over the last few years (free taking). Tyrone to win by four points. Agree, given to the fact that it's in Healy Park and that I think this Tyrone team will be keen to lay down an early marker that we are Ulster champions for a reason I think Tyrone will won. Won't be easy, Monaghan are a tough battle hardened side and deserve big respect but I just think Tyrone are a better side and will show it on Sunday

Good to see SC getting in the excuses early while still tipping Tyrone to win. Blaming the field and the ground in general. Apart from that I think Monaghan have brought in better players than Tyrone over the league. All hopes of a win are been pined on the young LB lad. Should Monaghan hold their discipline he won't have much of an impact on the game and if there is no CC or mc cann then two of the best players you have for tracking back and breaking out of defence will be irreplaceable. Therefore Monaghan by 3 or 4.

Indeed, all hopes of a victory for the back-to-back defending Ulster champions are being pinned on Lee Brennan, a lad who didn't kick a ball in either our 2016 or 2017 Ulster championship wins....

Good to see we are bit by bit getting under your skin. Looking forward to a very hostile Tyrone crowd trying to intimidate our players and the ref who will need to have a good game. Well done you 2 in a row such a pity there won't be 3 in a row.

Nice to be going for it though

Don't be such a sour dose man. Anybody can win on the day and whoever it is will be the likely ulster champions, and the loser on the day will still have plenty to play for. Lighten up a bit it's the first game for both our teams.

I'm obviously hoping Donegal will reach the Ulster final from the other side. The ideal scenario for us would be for Monaghan and Tyrone to play out an epic 4 game saga like Dublin Meath in 1991! Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9108 - 17/05/2018 10:15:34 2101612 Link 0 |
