Replying To royaldunne:  "Is it not the case that senior teams are allowed to train with county management? As I know a couple of counties are certainly still training, the ban is only for games or am I wrong?"
If it is set aside for club activity then the clubs should have THEIR players for the three weeks. Hardly a big ask

There was an email sent out by the county board saying that all county players were available to train with there clubs for the month of April.
However clubs don't have their county players this week as the Meath seniors are training.

Replying To Analyst:  "This is apparently true, but don't criticise cos if we didn't keep this level of commitment we would just be a poor div 2 side who struggle to stay in that division and we would not be the threat to Dublin that we currently are"
We are no threat to Dublin at the moment! Even the Dublin panel have been released back to their clubs for Championship this week - the clubs are the foundation - but are being treated badly. The clubs should be allowed have their county players for the build up to championship games without the players feeling under pressure to do nights with the county! We need a strong Championship in order to develop players into strong county players!

Think under 19 football starts on Friday 20/4/2018 not this weekend as all under 17 finals are on first according to planner .

So we have fixture on Saturday evening in the IFC and 4 of our players have been fixed to play on Friday night in the U19, Seriously wft? I'm sure there are plenty of others in the same boat, St Michaels have 2 or 3 lads aswell, do they want a load of walkovers in the U19 so they can get rid of it or what?

The under 19 is there to give football to those not getting any. We have been told that only players not involved with adult teams are to play u19. That is the official line. Don't fully agree but thats it

That's crazy stuff. I'd imagine a lot of clubs won't be able to field a team if lads who play adult are unavailable.

Just think it will be mainly under 17's playing this league with a few under 19's thrown in ( ones who are not playing adult football) . Some clubs may have to play under 16's also ( don't know if this is allowed ) but needs be in some cases Although I do think when it comes to the Finals - teams will be looking to get all their under 19's back . I hope this league can be successful compared to last years and clubs support it fully

U 16's not allowed. Even though last year U 15 could play minor

County lads who played with there clubs at the weekend are expected to train Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday with Meath this week alongside training with there clubs and getting ready for championship with there clubs in just over a weeks time.
Something has gone wrong somewhere along the line, this is madness

That is good as are too young in my opinion . I presume county minors in both hurling & football not allowed to play

I know there is a cull of panel players. I don't see the relevance though to club thread?

Yeah best of luck to the county board trying to enforce that
