The obedient delegates get rewarded. Word is that a prominent senior side are threatening not to play due to not having county men back for the stipulated time

Kells and summerhill should be tie of the round expect kells to win it and have another decent year. Interesting to see how the tones get on too Northsidegaels (Meath) - Posts: 237 - 04/04/2018 08:19:12 2090897 Link 0 |
Lads I hope im wrong but I fear that alot of games wont take place this weekend, was talking to a guy from dunshaughlin and as things stand, their pitch is not playable - and the forecast is for more rain - so with the exception of the very good pitches like PT, it may unfortunately be a case of alot of teams kicking their heels for another week Footnote (Meath) - Posts: 66 - 04/04/2018 09:44:29 2090917 Link 0 |
This weather could make a balls of the whole thing, lads are chomping at the bit to get started, disaster if there are whole scale games off longroadback (Meath) - Posts: 324 - 04/04/2018 10:28:59 2090933 Link 0 |

There are probably 10 or 12 pitches in the county playable at present, but if things are as bad as the forecast that will change, The likes of St Pats, Clonard, Trim, Grangegodden and Dunganny are probably okay along with another few but, places like Carlanstown, Castletown, no chance they will be in proper condition to play champ matches. Double headers anywhere but Navan surely will not happen

With Skryne flying in Division 1 of the league and Curraha's form being patcy a win for Skyrne looks the most obvious call - I think Curraha will upset the form books though! think you have the rest pretty much spot on!!
