No not all matches. The county board should just move back any club matches which involve county players by a week to allow 2 weeks training with the club. Makes sense really as the first round is spread over 2 weekends.

No
I would refix the Ratoath match for tue or Wednesday the following week to give the club two extra training sessions with their county players

Friday 6 April
SFC
St Patrick's v Ratoath - Pats will be tough and try to keep it tight but the 7/8 county lads back for Ratoath will see them win handy.

Saturday 7 April
SFC
Donaghmore/Ashbourne v Seneschalstown - Seneschalstown on a glass slope with slippers, Ashbourne should win by 4/5 but could also struggle this year to make it out of the group.
Skryne v Curraha - Game of the weekend here. If Curraha make Skryne chase the game they will have a great chance but I think having 4/5 lads back from Aus this year and POR in the form of his life will see Skryne get the win by 3.
St Colmcille's v Rathkenny - I think Brian Meade will have a big say in this, he is still one of the best midfielders around and the Cilles won't have anyone to compete with him if he is on song. Keoghan and Reilly will be a great battle as well. While it will be interesting to see how Ben Brennan does against a tight defense. Rathkenny by 2

Sunday 8 April
SFC
St Peter's Dunboyne v Blackhall Gaels - Dunboyne without breaking a sweat, McCarthy and Lenihan will go to town on them.
Dunshaughlin v Simonstown Gaels - This will be completely different than the league result. Simonstown should really kick on and win by 8 or 9 with Mckeever, Tobin and Conlon back. Only issue for Simonstown will be how do they replace Nash and O Rourke
Navan O'Mahony's v Na Fianna - O Mahonys had a great result against the Tones last weekend and I think they will kick on and win by 5, they are blooding a couple of young lads and Kevin Reilly knows most of them as well
Gaeil Colmcille v Summerhill - Summerhill are missing a few lads and aren't the biggest of sides anymore. If Hanlon is on song Kells should win by 4
Moynalvey v Wolfe Tones - Moynalvey have got the hurlers back at the right time and are starting to click plus O Sullivan will be a huge addition but Tones will win by 2 as I can not see how the Moynalvey backs will handle the Wards, O Reillys and O Fionnagáin

Cannot understand posters giving out about the county Board sticking to the fixtures- they are 100% correct. Without club football there would be no county football. The county players should have an advantage as they are training from October. Now this nonsense about getting back to the clubs to organise strategy is just that nonsense. The basics still exist in football-skill, work rate, and ability to use the ball well including being able to kick accurately. Anyone watching Corofin winning the club AI should be able to see how club and county football should be played.

I make it 8 games involving lads on the county panel, 400 players plus mentors should be asked to change arrangements that they have been aware of for over a month, I cant imagine many of the county lads think that it is a problem to play next week

Eamonn Wallace will be a big loss, they will still have too much for St Pats in my opinion
