Haha a bit of needle, that's what you want. Hopefully both teams will tear into each other in a few weeks.

Replying To KingdomBoy1:  "Are you serious? Was Dublin joe reffing it? He was on the sideline for our game with the dubs last week as well.

I heard that he traveled to the mayo game a few weeks ago on the Dublin team coach."
Is that you're excuse for losing by double scores? :)

Replying To Joxer:  "Take the maroon glasses off kid. Plenty of pulling dragging run blocking etc from Galway. They clearly wanted to disrupt Dublin at all costs but it didn't work. Both teams were nighling. It will be intetesting to see what happens in the large open space of Croke Park."
Not denying that at all joxer, but the full on 'stop the game at all costs to run out the clock' wrestling was beyond the pale. Literally and figuratively.

Playing in dublin's home stadium with its open spaces will definitely be a huge test for this team, but given what they've achieved so far this year, it's all to play for. Shame some of the Corofin lads won't be back for it, but things are shaping up nicely for us come May 13.

And being accused of bias by a supporter of the other team is a little pot, kettle, black, no?

Six dubs so far and counting. I'm hoping for double digits before the dust settles a mhic.

About as much chance of that as Sherlock getting the same sanction that was meted out to Eamonn Burns.

Replying To fingalman:  "You would think Galway were saints today, loads of pulling and dragging off the ball and never mentioned by Galway Bay FM!! Dubs will play and win anyway that is required. Will be interesting to see how Galway play when we get them in the wide open spaces of Croker. Methinks they will see a different Dublin. Anyway good to see Galway back as a force in football."
Wouldn't read anything into commentators from the home team. Always biased Joyce was the same on RTE Radio today. Galway managed 3 pts in the last 50mins of the game when 10-4 up this was in no doubt down to there extremely negative tactics taking off Shane Walsh was strange I thought he was made for that 2nd half carrying the ball into the wind. Overall delighted with the draw giving loads of players game time. Galway will be a tough nut to crack in May I think they will certainly make super 8's.

Must have been a great competitive game from snippets I heard on the radio, sets up for a great final, I'd imagine Croker will suit the Dubs and Galway haven't done well in Croker in a while, still though great progress by Galway, they'll be in top form heading to Castlebar in May playing div 2 side Mayo!!
You have to hand it to this Dublin side though, they are tough as nails as well as great players, Jim Gavin is steering the ship well.

Hard game to referee but McQuillan done his best to make it impossible.
Dublin didn't really get going at all and Galway were very well set up defensively but got the benefit of anything that was going from McQuillan I felt.
It makes for an interesting final.

Some accomplishment all right. Enjoy it while you can, for the whole world's in a state of chassis Joxer, and you wouldn't know what the summer may bring.

About time Galway tried for a seat at the top table...long may it continue. Here's to a cracking final and both teams getting to the Super 8s

Great to see Galway football returning to where it belongs. The win wasn't important today. It was all about this young team showing themselves they can compete with this Dublin side.

Great weekend for Galway football, corofin masterclass in Croker yesterday and this young inexperienced Galway team putting it up to Dublin today, a learning curve and no matter what happens in the final huge progress is been made.

Not sure what lemslip is, but I'm willing to try anything that works. A bit like ye're footballers there atá the end.

Did you actually see the game? By all accounts Galway were no angels themselves.

Here's to a decent rivalry with Galway over the next couple of years, if we can hang on in there that much longer. We may be on our way down whilst Galway are on their way up. Based on the form of the other big teams so far, the next year or two could be ripe for Galway....we'll see :-)
