Plunkett's GAA

(Oldest Posts First)

One of the goalposts in the Plunkett's pitch was cut down last night. Along with the financial cost the start of the Plunkett's season is ruined. Shameful act on who ever did this and hopefully the culprits who did this will be caught.

Mindless idiots. It's scary how disassociated Ireland is becoming from the value of community.

The Plunkett's are doing great work in the Mell area and the west side of Drogheda. Mindless idiots is right. It is sure is scary WheresDeBallBag. A lot of today's generation have no respect at all. The Plunkett's have won one senior championship and that was in the wonderfull wee year of 1957. Some year to be a Plunkett's and a Louth supporter.

I wonder if every club in the county would throw the Plunketts €100 for the replacement. It would go a long way. Not that I think Plunketts need cash I just think it would be a nice way of showing there is still people put there who appreciate the work being done.

That's a nice touch there WhereDeBallBag. The Super Rats might even help out their neighbours if they are stuck to play matches on their home pitch.

Sounds like we have a serial goalpost cutter in our midst in the greater Drogheda area so.

True enough Whitey. The Plunkett's pitch is only down the road from the Glens pitch.
