The supporters who attend away games are not the supporters rooting for us to lose. Am referring to the same ppl who ripped MOD and now are ripping Mcentee and never offer any positivity. The same ppl nearly always say ' we aren't picking the right players ' but then never name whose these players are. Watching players play good in a club game at a slower tempo and then thinking they will be what's meath are lacking at inter county leve is nonsense. The selectors have 41 if a panel that they think are the best players who are making themselves available . I stand by my prediction - meath by 5/6 points over cork. But overall its a fairly inexperienced team." So is ours. Both counties rebuilding from a very low base. We (and I including myself in that ) probably expect or expected a bit too much too soon. So while I will travel tomorrow, to give my dub born wife a great Mother's Day (she might even get a snack box) expecting a win as I always do, it's the future we must keep focused on.
