John Heslin: class footballer, hilarious farming related tweets
Gary Brennan: would be an all star every year if he wasn't from Clare
Jamie Clarke: old school corner forward. you'd have to admire a man for admitting he would rather be off making coffee and wearing skinny jeans than playing football.

Lads Rory beggan is some keeper and any of the top 4 teams would snap him up if they had the chance.

Damian Comer ( Galway ) The best forward in the country at the moment
Ryan McHugh ( Donegal) The best attacking defender in the country at the moment
James McCarthy ( Dublin ) The best team player, will be probably one of the best ever. The heart of the Dublin team.

I would have to say

1) Noel Grath -

Always admired him from the day he first put on a Tipp jersey. Teams are often going for the big bruisers in the forward line now to grab the ball but Noel still finds his place, not the biggest or strongest but sticks to his amazing stick ability and ball skills. Good to see.

2) Conor Fogerty -

For years was in the Kilkenny setup and being used as a fill in. His versatility was probably his own worst enemy. Stuck at it and forced his way into Cody's plans in the midfield. Sticks to his strengths and a great example of hard work and simple skills done right in any game he plays.

3) Gearoid McInerany -

Ok I know I am a Galway man and I am not mean't to mention players from my own county but this guy deserves a big shout out. Big Mac never featured at underage for Galway which if one goes by the trend of selecting county panels in Galway would mean an almost certain chance of not getting a call in to the Senior ranks. Broke the mold and went on to the a central piece in the All Ireland victory. Never very skillful by God made up for it with years of hard work and persistence.
