Great player. Captain material, but he needs to cut out acting the bol*x. He is making himself a target for the anti dub brigade and this carry on could prove very costly later in the year. No point pretending he isn't lads, his behaviour of late has been desperate

He has never let Dublin down on the pitch but there has always been something about him that I don't trust him as a defender.

His diving and messing is a bit embarrassing alright.

Out of curiosity, What do you suggest happens if he continues acting the maggot, or, moreover, what would you like to see happen ?

You are the one wants DC drooped cos he might get sent off and cost us a big game...correct? Can u see the irony here Wayno?
In reply, if he doesn't stop this behaviour I would drop him 100%

He has an edge and that edge has been advantageous to the team in the past but he has to be careful and he seemed a bit incensed the other night and went a bit OTT and he made it easy for the likes of Horan.

Highly skilful player and a big part of the team, keep the edge but pick his battles a wee bit more, not a hard fix. He'll be grand.

I Only asked a question I didn't give an opinion on Cooper so dont know what you're getting at with that reply about me and irony

You'd keep Connolly around despite being sent off repeatedly in big games, many of which for striking an opponent, a loose cannon clearly capable of lashing out at any moment, yet he has been given so many chances, and fans forgive his various disciplinary issues, yet cooper acts the maggot a bit and you'd get shot if he keeps it up...

For the record. I didn't see what cooper done, I was up the other end of the pitch and haven't re-watched the game just read what horan said so I have no opinion on it one way or the other. just find it ironic that you'd keep Connolly around but would get rid of cooper... Can you explain that ??

Cooper would be far better of taking a leaf from Mick Fitzsimmons book and focusing on the task at hand. Jim Gavin would do well to make it known what he expects from him.

In fairness it's a nip it in the bud type thing he's had a couple of instances nothing more , the fear would be it happening in a big game

Drop him
no hesitation. Keep that nonsense up, Drop him.
Plenty fellas there could do a very fine job in his place (unlike connolly who is irreplacaeable)
This was going on last year too and he will only invite refs onto him. He is a desperate man to give away frees in kickable positions, this only makes his position shakier for me
If this keeps up, drop him. 100%

There is a difference Wayne
DC does'nt ever go LOOKING for trouble, its finds him. He rises to it but it finds him.
Johnny of late goes looking for it, he brings it on himself
Thats the difference, thats why its not hypocrisy

In fairness to Cooper, he's clever.

He engineers situations for himself and winds lads up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. He got Séamus O'Shea black carded in the 2015 replay for example.

The problem for him now is that he is getting a bit more attention on it as people pick up on him. It's gonna make it a little bit more difficult for him.
