Replying To Loyalroyal17:  "I think we all have been scratching our heads with Graham the past few weeks. He knows himself he hasnt been on form. Think everyone needs to cut him some slack. I am looking forward to seen what he can do sunday though. Played in the right position he should have a cracker of a game."
Yes totally agree

Team looks solid and I would say we will be changing style for this one, looking at starting team it looks like all out attack from get go

As suspected O Reilly and Brennan have not nailed down the starting berths over the last few performances. Hopefully this will spur them on when they get on as substitutes and show their value.

Cannot argue with the changes made. I am glad Reilly keeps his place. He really needs a good game tomorrow and dropping him would not have been a good move for confidence.

However, is the team selection not contrary to peoples opinions that Meath defend for 35 mins and attack for the closing stages?

Good to see Donal Lenihan back involved.

A few points:
1. It is not an "opinion" that meath defend for the first half, and then attack in the second. It is a fact that meath have played that way for the past 2 games.
2. The line-up would suggest that we will attack more from the start this time out. I think that is welcome, and the right way to play. At home against Clare, we should be looking to get at them early.
3 There is no guarantee that we will actually play that way. We can pick attacking players and still play in a defensive manner. We will just have to wait and see.

Thought you'd be be screaming for Ben Brennan to be starting?

No not at all. He will be brought on as a sub , the game is no longer about who starts and who doesn't start, it's really about 20 players playing to a system at any one given time. The 5 additional players who will come on (I'm sure Ben will be one of those) are as important as those who start. No longer is a player who doesn't start considered dropped, as everyone has a part to play. Looking at starting team and the subs to come on I am extremely happy

Important that players who came on last week and did well have been rewarded with starting place. Looks like a solid unit with options on the bench.

I have said from day 1 people need to calm the expectations on Brennan.. He's a young man learning his trade and needs to be given time! Now what I have seen of him he has a long way to go before he becomes a regular!! In saying that he could come off the bench and do well 2moro!! But certainty the correct decision to bench him !! Mcentee is making the correct calls for sure,How Conlan didn't start last week I will never know! Delighted to see him back !

I expect the same tactics as has been evident throughout mcentees tenure.

Defensive tactics to stay in touch then turn on the gas with 20 mins to go and hopefully end on the right side of the scoreboard.

Its one way of countering the 10+ point slumps we were used to seeing two years ago.

Just to clear this up 6 additional subs are allowed - this is a 'fact'.

I was one of them bigging Brennan up maybe more than i should have been but he is an exceptional player who will give alot to the team. He did right putting him on bench for this one. Hes known to be put out of grounds when he loses it on sidelines. Lets hope he can contain himself tomorrow and if he is subbed use that fire he has on the field. He needs the experience and i believe he is going to be a big part of team in time.
Delighted to see Conlon starting. These lads now have an awful lot to prove tomorrow...show us that they can be consistant from last week and we will have a massive confidence boost im the lads. Cant wait for this one.

He's not an exceptional player at the minute and I have no idea where that comes from ! Maybe at club level but I wouldn't know because I don't follow cilles..He's done very little so far to start regularly!! Anyway fancy us to win 2moro with a few spare !!

Personally my forward Line would be

10.James McEntee
11.Bryan Menton
12.Graham Reilly
13.O'Sullivan
14.Sean Tobin
15.Donal Lenihan

With Rooney and Flanagan Midfield..
