Should have been postponed until after the league. 16/17 Feb was supposed to be a rest week for our players. You can't just abandon the competition at the final stage. It will be played on the 17/18 February same weekend as the McKenna Cup and Connacht league finals. My feelings exactly, and sure what if we don't fulfil the fixture? What actually happens? If it's a case of a serious fine or thrown out of the championship then ok, play the 3rd team or u20, but if it's just a case of 'ah now come on Meath, sure yiz have to play it' then.....naaaah.
