Replying To grahamc9897:  "I agree He should get more Gametime,...Im 100% For that but lads are talking him up like hes a guaranteed Starter in the championship first 15..Now he might well go on to do that but chill-ax on the talking him up and Just let the guy play football against some better teams..It wont be until League games until we see that so save the judgement until then..Finally I only reply To royaldunne in a negative way when his incredible "Colmcilles" Biased attitude pops up.."
We're pretty much in agreement to be honest. I didn't notice anyone saying he should be a guaranteed starter in the Championship, more that he should get a good run in the OBC. I could have misread certain posts though.

Have no fear RD Ben will be on the pitch Sunday. He seems fairly eager to prove himself . And one thing about it is he is going to be comfortable out there playing along side Biggy as he was against Carlow. No brainer really. He will be out to fight for a starting 15 in this years championship.

Longford took a hyped Kildare with 6/7 starters from last year apart. While I think we will win, I don't think it'll be as comprehensively as some might

All of the new lads that played against Wicklow, should start against Longford. Better test for them.

I saw Ben Brennan play last year for the Meath Juniors against Louth in the Leinster Final and he is a very good footballer. Where is James Conlon? I thought he would be on the Meath panel this year or is he still young enough?

Agree with you Ollie, you would have seen in that game how aggressive of a player he is, looks like hes learning to control it & i hope he can use it to his advantage and put into his game.

I think we have to be careful and give the likes of Brennan a chance instead of building him up before he has even played a proper game for Meath.

Agreed......but let's take the same stance for all players for 2018. New ball game now; every man has to walk the walk. by showing what he can do. rather than someone else telling us what he can do......no exceptions.

Strong team ok, But I dont like it. why is Biggy, Menton playing starting ? Why inst Joey Wallace staring ? I dont think he started a game for Meath in 2 years.

Why shouldnt Biggy & Menton start?? Its a strong looking team with these 2 included in the start up.

Think he means you know what the likes of Menton and Reilly bring.
Yeah would have liked to have seen Joey and Glynn against what is decent opponents
