Your most memorable moments of 2017

Tipp didn't go on the journey they did in 2016 in the football cship but my biggest memory for 2017 was of Tipp coming back from the brink in the second half to beat Cavan. Some of the Tipp players stood up that day and dragged them back into a game that was over at half time. Beating Cavan in Clones is a big scalp for Tipp and shows the progress made.

For the first time in years; this year Tipp have gained players rather than lose their best so hopefully they can have a good year.

Again the best team won and I would not begrudge Galway for a second. However all goals count. Some look great others are lucky. Near the end Tommy Ryan struck a screamer that was destined for the net when it deflected off Maurice Shanahan. "Poxy Luck" That is the way it goes.

I enjoyed DC's 2nd half performance in the AI final - His quality won the game for Dublin.

At half time in that match I couldnt see anything bar a double scores defeat but we were outstanding the second half and Cavan could never recover from going in at HT probably thinking the game was won. For me though the stand out moment by far from tipp in either code was final game of the league in Armagh, the week before in thurles if we beat Louth we were up, we were awful and lost that one. Ourselves and armagh winner takes all, they bossed the game and were 4 or 5 points up going into injury time and we end up scoring a goal with the last kick of the game to win by a point. We dont seem to like doing things the easy way!!

For personal reasons the U21 success for the young Dubs this year was memorable for me.

They beat a good Galway team who had taken out Kerry quite comfortably. No shortage to Dublin talent coming through.

No that's for sure! Hasn't been a dull moment the last few years. They never know when they're beaten

The Louth minors getting to the Leinster Final for the first time in forty six years. They beat Laois away in the first round after extra time by two points, beat Offaly by a point at home in the quarter-finals and beat Wexford away in the semi-finals by a point.
