Meath v Carlow 3 Jan 2018

Why is anyone even entertaining this debate?? It is a pure and blatant lie and clearly only being used for winding up purposes. I would be confident in saying that there is not a county player in the country that would account for 45% of a teams scores (scoring or direct assiting), not to mind 2 years running!!

'The facts are there...read the stats'. Not having a go at RD in the slightest I just want him to post up a link or to inform me where he read this.

Dont Like to be critical of Royaldunne anymore...Buy when he comes out with mad statements like that its hard not too..Its quite well known he has the Highest opinion of Graham Reilly in the country and any negative comments about him he cant accept,Bad games are because of Injurys and the like.. But i wouldn't take the comment too seriously there is no way he could ever back it up,,Pinch of salt id say

Well I got them from statically from someone who is in the business. It's year round not championship. But we will take one game. V Louth of our total score graham scored 7, was last man to touch ball before score on 5 occasions and was fouled for 3 scored frees. Now do the math on our total score.
Proven.

Does RD know which competitions it involves? O'Byrne Cup, League, Championship? Would it be possible to know his average distance run by Biggy in the championship last year RD? That would be an interesting one.

He did say "The facts are there. Read the stats." so I can't wait to read his detailed response on this matter."
Easy to get them if you doubt me.

Apart from biggy on Wednesday is there anything to give us hope from what anyone seen. I know it only first game but are we pure defense or mixing it up.

Replying To browncows:  "RD- Trump has a position for you in the White House based on 'false facts' To say we would not have beaten Carlow previously is one such twist!- we beat them in the same location 3 years ago in the same competition and there was no panic either! Now on captain's position- you gain most respect as a captain by you performance on the field of play- not by shouting at other players. Now a win is a win and conditions were very difficult suiting the bigger slower players. I expect to see a win against Wicklow ion a good pitch and it is good to see new players getting a go- just hope it continues with no injuries- best of luck to all."
Well we lost to westmeath. For first time in 135 years underneath another management. . So anything is possible.

Ok so that is 15/27 in his best game of the championship by miles. He was probably max 1 or 2/13 against Kildare. Not looking like 45% still

Produce them so!! meath scored 1-68 In last years Championship..Your saying he contributed 15 scores or assists v Louth Fair enough..He scored Nothing V kildare,A point v Donegal and 2 v Sligo..Which Makes 18 all Together so That works out at 27% ish .. I simply dont see anywhere near the extra 18 Percent Which would mean he Directly assisted another 12 Scores in the remaining games!! And To Be Honest I Have serious Doubts about the 15 V Louth

7 scored v Clare. Fees 4 which lead to scored frees , 3 assists.
Armagh game not included as it's only games he participated in.
I am not going to give out the contact information for a third party on a forum which I doubt he is involved in, however I would suspect these stats are easily available from Meath cb , so drop them a email and request them. We not dealing with state secrets.

The two examples you have given are Louth and Clare, by a distance his best games of the year where he is about 50. As we know when Biggie doesn't play well he may as well not play at all. So 2 or 3 games a year at 50%, 2 or 3 games at 20%. Doesn't look like 45%. Btw, we never played Armagh last year so assumed that wouldn't count !!!

Graham scored 6 points against Clare and was substituted in the 55th minute. Meath also only scored one free that day and we never played Armagh in a competitive outing in 2017. You're wrong just admit it.

Tough win but this is the OBC so no point reading into it.

Happy with the new comers Gallaher, O Neill, Brennan, O Reilly and Garry didn't put a foot wrong. Hope to see more of O Neill and Brennan in the league. Not the best display by our midfielders, we need more mobility around here and lads need to stop carrying the ball into trouble, Cillian O Sullivan done it last year and James McEntee done it the last night.

Lets be honest though Carlow aren't going to be winning Leinster or Sam anytime soon they will be aiming to win division 4 where as we are aiming to win division 2 and get to a Leinster final as well as last 8 so this game will be forgotten about come tomorrow afternoon.
