Is it just Leinster with that sort of format?

Minor 2018 - New Format?

Would it be to much to ask that when people start topics like this, they could specify whether it's football or hurling they are referring to?

There should be an F or a H beside each thread or have them colour coded or something, If its a general GAA thing then have that clear also. I brought up that point before. Maybe it's something Hoganstand might look at for the next update

Glad to see an effort to have more meaningful games but it looks like the final won't be the curtain raiser for the Leinster final, hope I'm wrong about that. Hopefully we don't have too many dead rubbers or messy score difference outcomes

Final is due to be played 3 weeks after the senior final - it'll be a double header with the shield final.

Rest of the Leinster sides are in Group 2, bar Kilkenny who aren't entering. Gives each of them 4 games and 1 bye across the 5 dates.

1st v 2nd in each of the semi finals with 3rd and 4th playing each other in the shield competition.

Would expect Kildare to at least make a semi with that sort of draw, imagine it'd be between Dublin and Meath on the other side.
