Replying To Htaem:  "Haha good man OLLIE, you're one of the few sinners on here like meself, most of the rest are 100% pure. Fairplay though, at least you get the craic, there's some terrible sensitive souls around here!

Anyway, it's been a highly fruitful evening's fishing, now this wild party animal is off to bed, night folks :-)"
You weren't fishing at all. You're only saying that now as the masses didn't rally in behind you as you expected!

Two things.
1 it wasn't htaem who started thread it was me.
2 it wasn't about water it was about the crushing of patrons (mainly children).

Now who's the tulip???

Replying To hill16no1man:  "Thats fine in most instances but what you dont see in them instances is the property of the Kilkenny gaa board proudly on show during the incidents,Surely in the week that was in it for the gaa with a coach being found guilty of sex offence within a Club the last thing the gaa or a Club should be doing is condoning this or taking it lightly as I'm sure people in the area would be a bit uncomfortable if any of the guys on that team were to take charge of their son's or daughter's team with there now clearly on view history surely thats more damaging in the lonf run. What people do in their private lives is that non of anybody's buisness and if they want to share that online that's their own thing to do but the Kilkenny county board im sure didn't give them the go ahead to allow their property be part of the action that's were the trouble lies and it becomes a Club celebration clearly which leaves the need for some sort of statement by the club apologising for degrading the property of the Kilkenny gaa."
Every cup in ireland get filled with drink every year and thrown around pubs should the not be taken back as well

I think the most valuable lesson these young men will take from this is that you should never, ever sh1t on your own doorstep! ;)

Just checked Funeraltimes.com and as far as I can see there were no recent deaths in Ballyragget. In todays world this will quickly blow over and the people of Ballyragget will just get on with things as they were and the crusaders will move on to the next moral outrage. The irony though is that those who brought it to and kept it in the general public domain probably shone more of a light on something that wouldn't probably have raised much more than a bit of chat over the gate if it was Ballyragget only news. But hey, it is an ironic world we live in.

If you can't see the difference in a cup being filled with a drink and a cup been shown off for a sex act there's not much I can do to teach you.

I'd be no shrinking violet myself when it comes to the partying, I've been abroad and i've been to the strip clubs and it is good craic i won't deny, standard is better too....but christ what were these lads at, there was reportedly about 30-40 people in the place during this and not one person thought ''hold on a minute this isn't a good idea', I''ll let them away with the stripper part cos its not really a big deal but then it turns out about 10 lads have phones and have sent it all around the world. Again you could live with that, an odd lad will lose a sensitive girlfriend or get a slap from the mammy or the wife for being there, but then it turns out their actually escorts and one lad is video'd receiving a ''sex act'' that also goes all around the world!!!!!! There's just so many moments in this whole debacle that it should and could have been stopped but jesus when it got to the sex part!!!!!
then the defence on their twitter page being 'boys will be boys' and the hashtag referring to someones manhood. come on like!!!! this is nothing got to do with catholic ireland or whatever people are saying. However i won't condemn the lads, they know they done something regrettable, we all have, and like most of us doing something regrettable we learned the hard way from it. Just a pity some people felt the need to film it and upload it. I cant see that being good for team morale

Replying To Killarney.87:  "Surely the Kilkenny County Board has the power to decide who can represent them outside of their county?

If I was Ned Quinn I would take the cup back from them as punishment and leave it there.

Ironically having to play in Leinster could be more punishment for them than not playing cos if they don't push on and win an All-Ireland all the auld fellas in the village will say it was because of their nocturnal activities."
No they don't. The only thing they could have done is charging them with bringing the game into disrepute but there isn't such a law in the GAA. Also even if there was it would be very hard to stick it to a club. If the Kilkenny County Board act on this, it gives the story a new cycle. This will be banished to the memories in a week. There will be a spike when Ballyragget play again and that will be it. The County Board should issue a statement criticsing what went on and reaffirming the guidelines (that I assume exist) for club celebrations and that should be it. Also if the County Board did suspend Ballyragget, they could appeal, and then its a circus!
