Death of Pat Shovelin

(Oldest Posts First)

Pat was Donegal's goalkeeping coach under Jim McGuinness and at 41 died much too young.

I knew him well & a more unassuming, cheerful fella you couldn't imagine.

A huge loss not only to Donegal GAA but to the county as a whole.

Very sad. I remember him as vice-president and candidate for president of the Student Union in IT Sligo a zillion years ago, late 90s to be more exact.

Very sad news indeed, a loyal servant of Donegal football and a great friend and family man, he will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. RIP Pat.
