Does anyone know what club games TG4 are planning to show over the next couple of weeks.

Na Piarsaigh vs Kilmattock and Nemo vs Finbarrs I believe.

Last week there was an epic match between Slaughneil and Dunloy, with over 6,500 paying supporters, TG4 seems to ignore the Ulster HC

I am shocked there not covering the ulster club championship of kilcoo and slaughtneil its a repeat of last years final, would be expecting a massive crowd for this with 2 excellent football teams.

I have mixed feelings about televising club games as when Eirsport televised the Donegal QF & SF it definately hurt attendances which were much lower than previous years.

I appreciate the fact that televising games means that more people can see them but if people stop going to games then what is the future for clubs as the championship is traditionally a big earner for them.

Ironically the final between my own club Kilcar & Glenties is not being shown on any channel.

Being honest im a hurling supporter but the kildare football final tomorrow between Celbridge V Moorefield isn't being shown either nor have they ever shown it as far as I remember.
That said I'd prefer to get a chance to watch the hurling.

Great game in the cork football final today.
looked like nemo were gonna run away with it at 7v0 up.
slowly but surely the barrs dug deep to get back level and bizarrely had three full minutes of possession in added time to work the winner but couldn't even get a shot off you have to credit nemo defenders for their discipline in that period when the momentum was completely against them.

You took the words out my mouth, terrible game between Kilcar and Glenties. Two very good teams with some top players but they were just so defensive.

Great comeback from Finbarrs really enjoyable game, don't know why Shields is at 11 maybe he hasn't the appetite for the backs anymore at club level , the stadium is class but the pitch is still a disgrace they need to sort it out not good enough for the money they've spent.

I couldn't lay much blame at the door of Kilcar. Glenties went out to simply try and stay within touching distance of Kilcar. They then fell too far behind so Kilcar decided to sit back and see could Glenties do anything going forward while also knowing the game could open up and they could hit Glenties on the break if needed. Kilcar have had a long wait so they won't care what it looked like. Good game management.

Yeah didn't think there was any bounce of the ball on the pitch throughout the game.
Strange playing shields at centre forward alright I thaught but the corner forward Sherlock stood up for barrs in the second half and looked a very good player.

Pitch cut up a bit but there was a lot of rain and a few matches played on it. It is still below sea level.

Shields will soon by number 21. As will the number 11 on the other team - Paul Kerrigan. Though the latter started well, both are having almost no impact on games. If Ronan Mccarthy was watching, he will realize that they are no longer inter County players. I hope so at least.

In fairness Kilcar where defensive from the very start and tried to win the game on the break. Both teams very playing cat and mouse defensive tactics and it was shocking. And 15 Euro it the game was too expensive.

As I said I wouldn't be laying the majority of blame on kilcar. Especially after being stung last year.
