clondalkindub,in fairness, cuala are a hell of a team but take their top player out of it,just like st.martins had yesterday in rory o connor,it could have been a different game.
it is a na piarsaigh cuala final, that is for sure.

Na Piarsaigh were superb in the second half after a relatively poor start. 4 Munster titles since 2011 is a serious achievement and full credit to them. I thought the two corner backs Mike Casey and Niall Buckley were outstanding and obviously Adrian Breen again. Pauric Mahony had an off the day with the frees but no excuses for Ballygunner they were simply overpowered.

NAP and Cuala would make for one of the best All-Ireland club finals in years but I have to give Kilcormac Killoughey a chance in two weeks time after yesterday's display. KK bullied Mount Leinster Rangers and these winter conditions suit them perfectly. A special mention to Conor Mahon and James Gorman while Dan Currams done really well after a broken leg.

Hard to see anything only a Cuala NAP all Ireland final.

A heavyweight battle similar to ballyhale and portumna in the late 00's

The All-Ireland club IHC and JHC semi finals are on this weekend. Anthony Nash's Kanturk are short favourites to beat Armagh champions Middletown but I think the bookies odds may be slightly off. It's not that long ago when the Na Fianna club were in an All Ireland final at this level. Ballyragget have a tricky assignment against Mayo's Tooreen who I reckon could surprise the Kilkenny champions. Tooreen will take inspiration from Glenealy's showing in the Leinster final. The junior semi finals see Galway junior winners Sylane (who have been there before in 2015) face Wexford intermediate a champions Fethard St Mogue's while Seamus Prendergast's Ardmore meet Donegal senior champions Setanta.

Here's the fixtures:

Saturday 20 January

All-Ireland club IHC semi-final
Tooreen (Mayo) v Ballyragget (Kilkenny), Gaelic Grounds, 2pm

All-Ireland club JHC semi-finals
Sylane (Galway) v Fethard (Wexford), Parnell Park, 3pm

Sunday 21 January

All-Ireland club IHC semi-final
Kanturk (Cork) v Middletown (Armagh), Newbridge, 2pm

All-Ireland club JHC semi-final
Ardmore (Waterford) v Setanta (Donegal), Pairc Tailteann, 2pm

There could've easily been a double header in OCP, or SBP

There's a club football game in OCP on Sunday but yea a double header with some of those games could've been done. I thought Tullamore would be hosting Cuala and Liam Mellows. Semple is a strange decision.

Junior or intermediate club football all Ireland sf?

Or is it the division 2 football final from last year?

I thought Tooreen could really test Ballyragget but they proved no match for their Kilkenny opponents who were minus their star man Kevin Kelly. Fethard St Mogue's beat Sylane by double scores at Parnell Park. The remaining semi finals due to be played today are all postponed until next weekend.

Kanturk and Ardmore were big winners over the Ulster champions yesterday:

On Saturday I mean...

Here's the fixture's for Sunday's finals:

All-Ireland club IHC final
Ballyragget (Kilkenny) v Kanturk (Cork), Croke Park, 3.45pm

All-Ireland club JHC final
Fethard (Wexford) v Ardmore (Waterford), Croke Park, 2pm

How do we see these going? I predict a Munster double.

Ballyragget and Kanturk should be a right good game.

And a Munster double it was! Two closely fought games at a great standard. Well done to Kanturk and Ardmore. I'm particularly delighted for the Prendergast brothers - two of the most under rated hurlers during their time with Waterford. Also Anthony Nash, Lorcan McLoughlin and Aidan Walsh...

This weekend we have the two All-Ireland club SHC semi-finals - two one sided affairs are predicted. Does anyone give Slaughtneil or Liam Mellows a chance of causing an upset?

Here's the fixture's for Saturday semi-finals:

All-Ireland club SHC semi-finals
Na Piarsaigh (Limerick) v Slaughtneil (Derry), Parnell Park, 2pm
Cuala (Dublin) v Liam Mellows (Galway), Semple Stadium, 4pm

The melons might beat the Koalas but Liam Mellows won't beat Cuala on Saturday

If Parnell is a bog of a pitch at the weekend. I'd predict that the mountain men from Derry will give NaPairsigh their fill of it, if the referee allows them to.
