Average viewership of 1.13 million, peaking at 1.30 million and having an 80% share (which is the stand out stat) is ridiculously good viewership for the All Ireland Final. uibhfhaili1986 (Offaly) - Posts: 1296 - 19/09/2017 08:14:42 2047885 Link 0 |
This years two Senior finals both drew record viewership's and record downloads on GAAgo and player . When you consider quite a number of viewers also watched it on Sky Sports as opposed to RTE the GAA has serious drawing power. hurler32 (Limerick) - Posts: 867 - 19/09/2017 12:31:23 2048018 Link 0 |
Amazing viewing figures considering Ulsterman claimed nobody outside of Dublin and Mayo have a damn about it

Incredible viewing figures, especially when you consider it is only for 26 counties and another 83000 were at the game. RTE must be delighted. Pity they won't be showing a single live game until next May again, and it all finishes in August for them next year as well. Soma (UK) - Posts: 2630 - 20/09/2017 09:26:28 2048420 Link 0 |
Was a great spectacle. Non GAA/Sports Fans who tuned in were talkng to me about the decisions in the game like true experts :) . Super Sunday EPL nonsense doesn't come close in comparision to the sheer entertainment. poguemahone (Dublin) - Posts: 365 - 20/09/2017 09:40:51 2048426 Link 0 |
