Delighted that u17 game is on live , FairPlay to Tg4 , disappointed same decision wasn't made for the hurling final a few weeks ago ,

Ah know hard what way it will go, One thing i will say though is you would do well to find anyone in Roscommon who would have predicted us getting to the final at the start of the year. We shipped a 36 point challenge defeat to Kerry in March only to improve massive and beat them against the odds last week. Would be great to be first county to get a hold of the _________ Cup."
Same thing happened when we won the minor years back, shipped an awful beating of Armagh I thing in first game of the year.

Agree but thaught they would have had the 17 final on today with Kerry and mayo replay would have made more sense as already two games tomorrow and sold out as it was, would have given anybody from roscommon a chance of going today with it not going to be a full house

Best of luck to Roscommon & Liam Tully tomorrow. Nice article on Hoganstand & hopefully their honesty & togetherness will be rewarded with a win. Marvellous achievement for a County with a very small population. There are two very special talents on their team since day one & they have matured into fine footballers.

Best of luck to the young Rossies today, really hope they do it. It was so heartening to see Mayo flags in Roscommon supporting their western brothers. Lets hope three wrstern counties will ne celebrating into the winter.

1 - it wouldn't of been very fair to change the day of the match as late as last Sunday evening, who knew Kerry and Mayo were going to draw

2- Roscommon aren't the only team playing in this final. GAA do get rightly criticised when the schedule hurling and football league games for the same day at different venues / same times. Should be congratulated for a bit of joint up thinking and for giving these young lads a day in the sun as part of the biggest sporting event taking part in Ireland this weekend
