Are Mayo the Keyser Soze of Football?

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

So all the usual suspects have arrived in the semi but one of them seemed weaker than all the other up to now. Was today the cinematic equivalent of that final scene in the 'Usual Supects' where Spacey discards the limp and reveals his true, deadly self? Justy wondering has it all been dissimulation and 'playing dead' until now.

You could argue that but I'll stick with my Jimmy White of the GAA analogy! Mind you I always wanted him to win and if I had my way it'd be Mayo for Sam and Waterford for Liam.

Ah in fairness, most of us who don't watch 'Mrs Brown Boys' get the reference. A fairly famous film :)... Although would be more tempted to call Mayo's next game 'A bridge too far'..

Now 'A Bridge Too Far' fine!

I don't watch Mrs. Feckin Brown!!

Apparently i'm out of step on The Usual Suspects. You know they way there's always a classic or 2 you've never seen?

I think Dublin's next match is going to be entitled 'The Blue Angel' instead of starring Marlene Dietrich, Diarmuid Connolly will play the lead role!

Original quote by Charles Baudelaire, French philosopher. 1821-1867. Not a saint.
