Cork should lodge complaint

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Such a great pity that today's fantastic game ended on such a sour note

It looks like the ref blew up early

At least 30 seconds... in a 1 point game

Cork GAA should lodge a complaint

Considering Cork's huge effort. They deserve a lot more than that

Do people feel the game should by replayed?

Surely this has to be the only fair thing.

A lot can happen in 30 seconds

Same thing happened in 2014 between Cork and Mayo. Same result and ref blew up early

We should all appeal against the standard of refereeing in important games which just isn't good enough and is letting down players and supporters alike.

Jeeze man not sure that would set a very good precedent

That's a huge error today and by all accounts the reaction of their fans and players may dictate what comes next.

Lol classic. Maybe we should take the first goal off them for the 10 or 11 steps he took. Another WUM.

Time indicated is not provided for any rule. Referees discretion. He played far too much injury time in both extra time halves anyway. Ref had a great game I thought so leave him alone. Besides, Cork supporters have no right to complain. Venue was mich closer to them than Mayo but it looks like only about 2000 bothered to travel so they've lost the right to complain imo.

It's over. There'll be no replay. Just further examples of inept officiating. Can't be trusted with time keeping consistently or administering the black card,Donegals Michael Murphys today was a joke.

Ciaran Branigan involved in another contentious incident after the Connolly incident earlier in year then?

Jaysus Flaker

No need for that

Not trying to WUM at all

Perhaps take off the Mayo just won glasses?

Give it a rest will ya! It gets boring complaining about the officiating. Ciaran Brannigan gave one of the best refereeing performances of the championship

Padraig Lodge in RTE said he felt there was only 500 Cork supporters at the game. Not surprised, Limerick and Cork played a cracking Munster Final in Cork in 2009 and only 9,000 of us attended. I am a hurling man but I thought the level of support from both counties that day was scandalous

Listen if the red didn't blow the game up early then great!

As I stated from the start it would have been a very sour note to leave such a good game on

Hope it wasn't an error but if it was.. Very unfair on Cork and they would be perfectly entitled to lodge a complaint
