Kilmallock very lucky to come away with a draw on saturday. Outplayed for most of the game. The fact they have played more matches is a big help to them as they are battle hardened but now St Patricks will have more games. Kilmallock have a tactic of fouling anytime st Patricks run at them and give away alot of frees.Well done to the Ref on Friday who was strong enough to give one at the end and it was more than St Patricks deserved.

Now there is a post that is only looking for a reaction!
Enjoyed the game as a neutral, plenty of commitment from both sides but the final decision for the free was shameful. understand the human element to make the game a draw but there was about 8 steps, dropped the ball and kicked it, no contact and free given. Draw game. He didn't have the guts to call the game. I thought that decision took away from the game itself.

Have to agree with you,it was no free, ref made a mistake, but overall the staints should of won in normal time and killmallock should of won in extra time so over all a draw the fairest thing, still think St Pat's are that bit better

Not looking for a reaction. Also just a view point on the game. Draw was probably fair and a few decisions during game were disputed including last free but the defender held a hand and a free is a free. I think Kilmallock were lucky to bring it to extra time and St Patricks fortunate in extra time. Killmallock will need to look at discipline as constantly fouling i thought looking on.

In fairness to the ref I thought he had a good game overall , could have sent off a player or two on either side but kept the head and gave out a few yellows . It was a shocking decision re the last free tho , no way was it a free . Dunno what it is about gaa refs trying to level up games when one team is a point up going into injury time - must be part of their training program

St Patrick's now have to play a very strong Waterford champion before the replay , won't help them for the next Kilmallock match .St Patrick's are tight panel wise and the last thing they need for next replay is an injury or a suspended player .Whoever wins the county and goes up intermediate is the main prize here not a run in Munster which at this stage is out of range for the limerick teams .

Yes judging by a 5 17 to 9 point win in their own
Waterford final and Senior only two years ago with Seamus and Declan Prendergast Ardmore could be v strong like Mayfield last year who went all the way after a big win over a depleted St Pats.Bit of a catch 22 situation

Shout out to Rathkeale for a fully deserved West title today - first for 49 years. Great effort from them - basically the same lsds play football n hurling and after all draws/football relegation disappointments etc., they played a good brand of hurling to win today. Well done to them

openstand i don,t agree that munster is outside of limerick clubs.i think any juinor or intermediate team should be good enough to compete as was proven by murroe, who playing their 3rd game in 8 days were beaten after extra time by a point.i,m hearing pats down bodies today again due to a clash of soccer fixtures,if this is right they hardly deserve to be representing the county in munster championship.it always seems to happen them at this time of year.

They were missing one player who unfortunately could not commit. The other 3 were carrying knocks so were not risked but attended the game. It is very difficult for any team playing a county final the following week to have a real cut off a Munster club game. I would also safely say st Pats have come up against really strong opposition again. Last year Mayfield went on to win an all ireland and have now won a cork intermediate. I think you will also find Ardmore are a real strong Junior team who lost a five players last year for different reasons so were relegated but have them back and won their own final 5 17 to 9 pts so are a very good team. In fairness it is a tough situation for St Patricks who really want a county to try put everything on the line today.

Sorry Mayfield beaten in cork semi but won an all ireland i would think Ardmore wont be too far off doing the same

St Pats or any recent Junior winner were never going to compete with Ardmore, Murroe themselves would have struggled!
Hopefully Pats put today behind them and get down to the real business of getting the better of Kilmallock and going up Intermediate.

What will the prediction be for the third game in this. Kilmallock will have had a good rest after a tough couple of weeks which should help them. Its getting dragged out now so same motivation may not be there for both teams.
