Exactly. Wrong mentality altogether.

Great win for the Dublin minors today.
Excellent and mental strength shown to come back from 10pts down at half time.

Proper attitude by our lads and will do them the world of good hopefully.

Never mind the excuses from the meath lads...!

Indeed we haven't, I agree with you. However this team are better than rest of Leinster including Dublin . They managed to beat themselves. Put it down to inexperience , dont let it happen again and move on. If that happens then all things been equal Meath should win it out.

Did you even read my message? You quote me as saying , "we will win it" when what I wrote was "we PROBABLY will win" big difference

No excuses, no one gave excuses. We just pointed out facts.

Meath 10 pts up couldnt miss. They just didnt turn up 2nd half. Strange"
when a dub lad says to me at the game. "that was a pen" you know it was! :)

How can Meath be better than the rest of Leinster including Dublin......when they lost against Dublin in a Championship Match?

Thats crazy thinking!

Looking at Meath yesterday, first half, a strong disciplined well coached team.

Second half.....ragball rovers.

As someone who goes to a lot of games, that Dublin team and that Meath team are miles off the pace of AI winner Minor team. Stronger groups have come before them. Fair play to Dublin.....10 points back and pulled it out of the fire. Meath looked dominant first half and were dominated for the remainder of the game.

To say they are the best Minor team in the Leinster after that performance is crazy stuff.

Ah Ziggy it is not like you to go on about a penalty decision that wasnt even warranted.

Meath collapsed but still get a 2nd chance so time too move on.

On a side note - that rule to allow a team to revert back to 15 players in extra time when a player is sent off in normal time really needs to be scrapped. Crazy that it is still in place. Treating extra time as a separate match is so out of date...!

To all my fellow Meath supporters can we all just calm down. I have seen it with senior and with minor. We are lumping expectations onto these teams. We need to stop it. These aren't the Boylan Meath teams. Expectations are way too high and we can't live up to them. That's not to say we accept failure. Keep expectations low but when unacceptable things like losing a 10 point lead happen then we have to say it's unacceptable and not blame penalty calls. This stuff is embarrassing me as a Meath supporter. This loudmouth, self praise is what I expect from the Hill 16 Dubs not from Meath people

Really looking forward to a potential game between Dublin v Meath

A few lads need a good dose of reality.

it was big call..

but the reason meath lost the game is simple..

they thought they had it won and stopped playing 2nd half. management went far too defensive too.

who do dublin play now?

Can't wait for the final, really looking forward, and hopefully seniors along with minors will be there.

Well done to the Dubs yesterday, it was a fine win in the end. I was at the game and our first half performance was very good but a game is never won in the first half unfortunately. After that we were very ordinary. Don't mind RoyalDunne he is forever spouting out nonsense. All our focus is on Laois now.

You weren't at the Meath v Dublin match and you haven't seen any of the other teams play. Yet you can say Meath are best in Leinster . How do you work that one out??

why are you saying this ?, It is a straight knockout championship. We have to beat Laois, then we could end up getting Offaly and Kildare or something. Minor championships are hard to win and when you take into account these lads are 16,17,18 anything could happen. Putting expectations on them for the sake of it.

Absolutely pathetic thing to say, I never once said this. This is a thread about the All-Ireland MFC yet you feel the need to bring the name of MOD into it. One word - Obsessed.
