Tipperary football chairman Joe Hannigan has reiterated his desire to see the county win an All-Ireland SFC title by 2020.

Speaking at the annual convention, Hannigan stressed that winning an All-Ireland in 2020 is 'no longer a pipe dream'.

Following the success of this year's campaign where Tipperary reached the All-Ireland semi-final, there are high hopes that the county can push on.

"We can look back at the 2020 vision now - I think that is no longer a pipe dream, the Tipperary Star reports Hannigan as stating at the convention.

"We are really looking forward to 2017. We have to build on this success and drive it on. We have the calibre of player in the county to do it.

"There is an onus on us all to work towards that. That should be our target and we are all on our way to doing it. Everybody working together is the only way forward."
