It was business as usual for Corofin in Pearse Stadium today as they overcame Salthill-Knocknacarra to capture their fourth consecutive Galway SFC title.

With Jason Leonard in fine scoring form, Kevin O'Brien's charges finished with five points to spare - 0-16 to 0-11 - over their opponents.

The left half-forward finished with nine points (four frees) to his name while Michael Farragher, Ian Burke and Micheal Lundy contributed two points apiece to their winning tally.

The 2015 All-Ireland Club champions enjoyed an 0-11 to 0-5 cushion at the halfway stage while Salthill-Knocknacarra's woes were compounded when substitute Peter Killeen was dismissed late on.
