Castlerahan will play Ramor United in next month's Cavan senior football championship final after both sides came through their respective semi-finals tonight at Kingspan Breffni Park.

Three first-half goals from Enda Flanagan, Paul Brady and David Wright propelled Castlerahan past Gowna on a 3-9 to 1-10 score-line, sending the Ballyjamesduff side into back-to-back finals having lost last year's decider to Kingscourt Stars by a point.

Ramor United reached their first county final in 24 years after holding on to record a 2-10 to 1-10 victory over Lavey with first-half goals from Cavan forward Jack Brady and Kevin Mulvany.

It means the neighbouring clubs will contest the competition's final for the first time against each other on October 9th at the Cavan town venue.
