An Charraig Mhór CLG, Co. Tyrone have recently launched a novel fundraiser which is themed on their own Conor Gormley's famous block in the 2003 All-Ireland final to deny Steven McDonnell what would have been a match winning goal for Armagh.
The fundraiser can be seen at www.buyablock.ie - it is based on the concept of buying a pixel/block from the photo of Conor's block, and, on All-Ireland final Sunday (September 18) they will draw random winners from all entrants for a series of prizes.
They have enlisted the services of 'Rory's Stories' to help them promote the fundraiser with predictably funny consequences…
