The London GAA board have stressed that unless supporters have tickets for Sunday's Connacht SFC clash against Mayo, they will not be allowed access to Ruislip.

The sides meet in the provincial campaign this weekend and the lead up to the game has been dominated by the availability of tickets for the match.

Last month, the London board pulled the general sale of tickets for the game and instead distributed them to their own clubs with the allocation being used up in no time.

This means that Mayo fans have been left short and the London board have stated that it will be pointless turning up at the Emerald Grounds without a ticket as cash will not be accepted on the day.

A statement on the exiles' website urged patrons to turn up early for the match.

"Please cooperate with our stewards and match day volunteers in the leading up to the grounds and within the grounds.

"Our intention is to ensure that supporters enjoy the match in safety and comfort so please follow all safety instructions."

The match throws in at 3pm, but the gates to the venue will be opened from as early as 11am on the morning of the game.
