Ronan Clarke appears in video fundraiser

Ronan Clarke features in a new video promoting a fundraising drive for the hospital unit that treated him in the wake of the life-threatening brain injury he suffered whilst playing for Pearse Og nearly two months ago.

In what is his first public appearance since he collided with a goalpost during Pearses' Armagh SFC clash with Maghery on August 14, the 2002 All-Ireland winning full forward explains how Clarke Fitness - which he runs along with his brother Conor - will be lending its support to a fundraiser being organised by his club tomorrow week, October 17.

Clarke Fitness and CrossFit Armagh will hold free bootcamp workouts, with donations to be given instead to the Intensive Care Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital.

"Thank you very much for all the well wishes after my accident," Clarke says in the witty video.

"In return, Clarke Fitness will be hosting a bootcamp from October 6-16 in conjuction with Pearse Og's fundraiser for the Intensive Care Unit of Craigavon Hospital. All donations of proceeds will go the Intensive Care Unit."

 

As part of the fundraiser which is being run by the Pearse Óg Armagh Gfc on the 17th of October, all of our BOOTCAMPS...
