Connacht SFC: Rossies negotiate London hurdle

Roscommon are safely through to the semi-final stage of the Connacht championship after a routine 1-14 to 0-10 defeat of London in Ruislip.

The outcome of this match was never in any doubt with the visitors leading by 1-12 to 0-6 approaching the three-quarters stage.

John Evans' men were six points to the good at the break with Enda Smith on target four times, 0-11 to 0-5, and Ciaran Murtagh's goal three minutes after the restart settled the Exiles' fate.

The prize for the Division Two winners is a semi-final joust with Sligo on Saturday, June 20th.
