Here's the players that impressed us on football league finals weekend ...

1. Thomas Treacy (Fermanagh)

The Fermanagh netminder showed good reflexes to keep out efforts from Kevin Dyas and Andy Murnin but defeat was to be his lot at the final whistle.

2. Philly McMahon (Dublin)

The tactic of sending Mark Collins out the field backfired on Cork as McMahon followed him and was far more productive in securing possession for his team.

3. Charlie Vernon (Armagh)

The experienced Orchard County defender held both Sean Quigley and Daniel Kille scoreless from play on Saturday night.

4. Jonny Cooper (Dublin)

Coming into the game Brian Hurley was singled out as a danger man for Cork but he got little change off the tigerish Na Fianna defender.

5. Conor Daly (Roscommon)

Roscommon football continue on an upward trajectory as the talented Daly and his team-mates put the cherry on promotion to Division 1 with a victory over 14-man Down.

6. Cian O'Sullivan (Dublin)

The versatile O'Sullivan looks to have solved the centre-back conundrum for Jim Gavin as the championship approaches.

7. Jack McCaffrey (Dublin)

Back to his electrifying best, Cork had no answer to the pace of the flying wing-back who deservedly picked up the 'man-of-the-match' accolade afterwards.

8. Graham Guilfoyle (Offaly)

The Clara man laid the foundations for Offaly's 13-point success against Longford with a commanding display around the middle third of the field and also raised a green flag.

9. Cathal Shine (Roscommon)

The number 9 was the best midfielder on show in the Division 2 showcase, getting his hands on plenty of primary possession for the Rossies.

10. Tony Kernan (Armagh)

The Crossmaglen clubman punished Fermanagh's indiscipline when converting five frees and covered practically ever blade of grass on the Croke Park pitch.

11. Ciaran Kilkenny (Dublin)

Showed signs of his best form in regularly getting on the ball and delivering inch perfect passes to his full-forward line colleagues.

12. Kevin McKernan (Down)

No finger of blame for the five point defeat can be pointed in the direction of McKernan who worked tirelessly throughout the 70 minutes and kicked over two points.

13. Dean Rock (Dublin)

Rock's personal tally of 10 points (seven frees) saw him overtake Cork's Colm O'Neill in the Division 1 top scorer chart.

14. Senan Kilbride (Roscommon)

The St Brigid's star was the 'man-of-the-match' by a clear distance and each of his four points were of the top drawer variety.

15. Willie Mulhall (Offaly)

Faithful County supporters will be hoping Mulhall can repeat his 1-5 individual haul when they renew acquaintances with Longford in the Leinster SFC.
