Mark McHugh and Neil Gallagher have resumed training with Donegal after missing last Sunday's Allianz Football League semi-final loss to Cork.

The key duo returned to training on Tuesday night after sitting out the Croke Park clash with rib and hamstring injuries respectively. With Paul Durcan, Darach O'Connor and David Walsh also back to fitness, manager Rory Gallagher is in the happy position of having an injury-free squad ahead of Donegal's Ulster SFC preliminary round showdown with Tyrone on May 17.

"Having no injuries is a massive plus. We have got to now with no serious injuries so hopefully that continues. We're really fortunate because it means that we can really push on with our intense training now," he told the Donegal News.
