Clare's Jamie Malone admits that Sunday's game against Limerick is a 'massive game' for them.

A win for the banner would almost certainly guarantee them their place in Division Three for next year as they currently sit on four points, but just three places from the bottom of the table.

Clare have had mixed fortunes during the campaign so far, but they will be confident of taking the points against a Limerick side that have just one win under their belt.

"It's a massive game for both counties," Malone told the Clare Champion. "We need to get another win on the board and Limerick need the points or they'll be relegated to Division Four.

"With the championship fixture also coming up, you don't want to lose this game to Limerick. You want the two points in the league and hopefully an edge looking forward to the championship game in the summer."
