Sligo forward David Kelly is hoping that his injury woes are behind him as he returns to full fitness.
Sunday's game against Limerick may have come a bit too soon for the diminutive forward, but he told the Sligo Champion that he was looking forward to an injury free campaign.
"I don't know if I will make the starting fifteen on Sunday, but it's good to be back involved."
He added: "I think it will be a stronger league this year than last. It could be a scrap to get promoted, but I do feel we are well capable of making it.
"As for Sunday, we beat Limerick in both the league and the All-Ireland qualifiers last year, so they will be out for revenge, particularly given that the game is on their home turf, but we're going there to win."
