Shane Curran is to dip his toes into club management with Roscommon outfit Padraig Pearses.

After his recent retirement from between the posts, 'Cake' made no secret of his ambition to go into management and his services have been snapped up by Pearses.

And the 43-year-old will need to call on all his experience from his playing days as his adopted club have never won a county SFC title.
