Kildare great Anthony Rainbow has joined the Sarsfields management set-up.

The Suncroft clubman played senior for Kildare for nearly 20 years before announcing his retirement after the Lilywhites' controversial All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Down in 2010. He stepped down as Carlow manager last August after two years at the helm.

'The Sash', who were managed by John Crofton this year, will be hoping it's a case of third time lucky in 2015 after losing the last two Kildare SFC finals to their Newbridge rivals Moorefield.

Sarsfields GAA are delighted to announce that Anthony Rainbow has joined the Senior Management for 2015.
