He lives in Wales these days but on Sunday Aodhan Gallagher collected his twelfth Antrim SFC medal with St Gall's.
The big midfielder was part of the side that captured a record-breaking eighth consecutive county crown by beating Erin's Own, Cargin in the 2014 decider. After the final whistle, the dual player headed back to Wales to be in for work on Monday morning...
"Nearly every weekend I've been away from home," he tells The Irish News. "It's been tough for me.
"With any other club or team I don't think you would get that commitment, but it means so much to me to be a part of this panel and part of the St Gall's family.
"It means an awful lot to me to be in a county final in hurling and to win eight-in-a-row and to be classed as arguably the best ever team to have played football in Antrim.
"It's an excellent achievement and hopefully we can go on to bigger and better things."
