Cork under-21 manager Sean Hayes knows that they face a tough test in the form of Roscommon in Saturday's All-Ireland semi final.

The Rebels cruised to a fourth consecutive Munster title last week, but Hayes knows that his side will have to step up to another level when they meet Roscommon at Portlaoise.

"Roscommon have been highly rated since the start of the championship, and, having hammered Mayo and beaten Leitrim well in the Connacht final, they have certainly delivered on expectations so far," Hayes told the Corkman.

"So we know we are going to be up against it, but our lards showed against Kerry and Tipperary, they are great fighters, and you'd have to be encouraged by the way they finished strongly to pull away from a good Tipp team."

O'Moore Park will host a double header tomorrow (Saturday) as also on the card is the meeting of Cavan and Dublin in the other All-Ireland under-21 semi final.
