The dust has barely settled on the 2016 inter-county season and counties are already looking forward to next year's championship.

The 2017 football and hurling championship draws will take place live on RTE2 at 9.30pm on Thursday. As usual, the Ulster SFC and Munster SHC draws will attract the most interest, while every team in the Leinster SFC will be eager to avoid All-Ireland champions Dublin, who have won 11 of the last 12 provincial titles.
